FORT WORTH, Texas -- August 14, 2007 – Eight DIGIKIDS® franchisees of the exclusive DIGIKIDS® child ID safety service, have been presented awards for exceptional performance by Michael J. Childs, DIGIKIDS® president.

Named Franchisee of the Year were Kent and Becky Couch, Arlington, TX. Most Valuable Player honors went to Jerry and Chris Patrick, Clarks Summit, PA. The DIGIKIDS® Rookie of the Year award was presented to Amy Roebuck and Joyce Kelleher, Bridgewater, MA.

These three, along with five other DIGIKIDS® franchisees — Jennifer and Trae Dupre, Gonzalez, LA; Deborah and Jack Farhi, Waxhaw, NC; Maggie and Mike Mahler, Waxhaw, NC; Bill and Jennifer Godfrey, Bradenton, FL; and Kevin and Lori Barland, Sandy, UT — were named to the company’s President’s Club, for hosting 50 or more events throughout the year.

“As representatives of DIGIKIDS® around the country, these outstanding franchisees have demonstrated enthusiasm and professionalism in their energetic effort to bring this essential service to their communities,” Michael Childs said. “In doing so, each award-winning franchisee not only has contributed to the success of DIGIKIDS®, but also has helped parents ensure the safety of their children.

“We are proud of every one.”

The awards were made Friday evening, August 10, at the company’s annual DIGI-Conference, this year at Embassy Suites Conference Center, in Grapevine, Texas.
