TRINITY COUPLE TO SERVE CENTRAL FLORIDA FAMILIES WITH PROVEN DIGIKIDS® CHILD ID SAFETY SERVICE

In response to the more than 2,000 missing children reported in the United States each day, DIGIKIDS® offers a Child Safety CD that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, the media, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other agencies with two high-resolution digital photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts.

TRINITY, Florida – October 3, 2006 – Steven and Nadia Foust, Operations Manager and stay-at-home mom, respectively, have been awarded the exclusive DIGIKIDS® child ID franchise for Pasco and Pinellas counties, announced Michael J. Childs, DIGIKIDS® president.

DIGIKIDS® offers a Child Safety CD that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, the media, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other agencies with two high-resolution digital photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts.

“In our careers and in our personal lives, we look for opportunities to make a difference,” explains Steven Foust, “When we began to learn more about child safety ID programs and were convinced of the reliability, success and peace of mind that DIGIKIDS® provides, we knew we had to provide this vital resource to other families like ours.”

For 13 years, Steven Foust served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army, recently retiring from the U. S. Army Reserve with more than 21 years of military service. He is the Operations Manager for Smith Aerospace Customer Services in Clearwater, Florida, where he oversees a facility that provides avionic repairs and overhauls that support major commercial airlines and the U.S. Department of Defense.

He also has more than 10 years’ experience as a college instructor, presently teaching classes in information systems at Saint Leo University and at ITT Technical Institute.

Additionally, he is the author of PowerPoint: Mastering the Army Promotion Points System, 1995, which provides enlisted military service personnel with advice on seizing promotional opportunities.

Nadia Foust worked in adult education for more than 10 years, serving as site director for Saint Leo University, St. Petersburg campus, before returning home and becoming an active community leader.

She was also Registrar for Schiller International University in Dunedin, FL, and Site Coordinator for Tarleton State University, Killeen, TX.

Nadia Foust attended the American College of Switzerland in Leysin, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in international business administration with concentrations in management and marketing. She was reared in a military family, living in Heidelberg, Germany, after the age of 6. She speaks and writes German fluently.

Both Steven and Nadia Foust have earned Masters of Business Administration degrees and live with their three children, Christopher (13), Ashley (11) and Harrison (18 months) in Trinity, FL.

“It is immensely rewarding and satisfying to offer our community this amazing, technologically advanced program that focuses on the rapid return of a missing child when it matters most — in the very first minutes,” Nadia Foust added. “That’s why it’s so easy to be a passionate advocate for DIGIKIDS®. It absolutely works, while other ID programs only claim to work.”

Offered through schools, preschools, churches, summer camps and other public events, DIGIKIDS® delivers its secure Child ID kits on site in two minutes or less.

“We are proud to welcome Steven and Nadia Foust to the growing family of DIGIKIDS® franchisees,” said Michael Childs. “Their impressive business credentials, plus their instincts for developing good relationships with our customers, as they work to improve safety of the children of the community in which they live, make them the ideal representative for DIGIKIDS®.”

According to the NCMEC, acting within the first 20 minutes of a child’s disappearance is critical. By using the easily carried business card-sized CD ROM, parents are equipped to distribute pre-formatted flyers and posters, complete with high-resolution photos and last-minute identifying details, anywhere in the world via internet e-mail.

“The electronic delivery to law enforcement officials of a child’s digitized photo can save crucial time, since the chances of safely recovering a child are much greater with the first few hours immediately following a child’s disappearance,” explains John Walsh, founder of NCMEC.

With its patent-pending technology to create each Child Safety CD, DIGIKIDS® offers parents anywhere a secure and efficient tool that can help speed the return of lost or missing children.

Beyond typical child identity programs that provide only an ID card, DIGIKIDS® really works, because the DIGIKIDS® CD enables parents to make a speedy and comprehensive worldwide distribution of critical identifying information using any PC with a CD-ROM drive. Each emergency e-mail and attachments are sent through a dedicated, secure network. DIGIKIDS® does not create or maintain a central database, guaranteeing security and privacy.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, DIGIKIDS® presents and supports its services nationally through independent franchisees. In addition to schools and preschools, DIGIKIDS® ability to produce the Child ID kits on site in 2 minutes or less affords a perfect opportunity for any local business wishing to sponsor a DIGIKIDS® safety event as a vehicle for giving back to the local community or its employees.
