What is DIGIKIDS®?
DIGIKIDS® is an onsite child ID company that offers the most
advanced, effective and affordable child safety ID available today.
The services you provide will be at customer or public locations,
such as schools, preschools and retail outlets with only your
business support functions operated out a small area in your home.
You will enjoy very low overhead and the freedom to set your own
hours.

What are the qualifications you're looking for in a franchisee?
We are looking for exceptional individuals that would like to
generate a great income while providing a much-needed service for
the community. You should enjoy working with children and be willing
to accept the responsibility of having your own business - and
setting your own hours. It is important that you have enthusiasm for
our product coupled with a desire to make a profit; not just a
desire to make a profit. Not everyone that applies for our franchise
is accepted but if this sounds like you, then please apply for our
franchise. You will discover that this business has the potential

How much is the
franchise fee?
All inclusive, turn-key territories are $28,700 and include an
exclusive territory, all of your equipment, a generous beginning
inventory, a minimum of two full days initial training and unlimited
ongoing support.

How soon can I be in
operation?
Once an area has been agreed upon and the franchise agreement signed
and accepted, it should take approximately 30 to 90 days.

Will I get a
protected territory?
Yes. You'll operate exclusively within a large geographic territory
that is protected from us or other DIGIKIDS® franchisees from
opening or operating another DIGIKIDS® business within that area.

How do
you determine the size of my territory?
We use a powerful software program designed specifically for the
purpose of designing franchise territories that provide maximum
benefit for all franchisees in the system. We consider our actual
formula a trade secret, but we can tell you that we base the size of
the territory on the number of children at and below the age of 14,
the number of elementary school enrolled students, the number of
schools and school districts, and other population and geographic
data we feel is important for you to be successful.

Can I
start my DIGIKIDS® business part time?
Yes. DIGIKIDS® can be successfully started or even operated on a
part time basis, with or without employees.

What are my overhead
costs?
DIGIKIDS® is a home based business with very little overhead cost -
the actual services you provide will be at customer or public
locations. As a matter of fact, you probably already have most, if
not all that you need such as; a telephone, Internet access, a
medium sized vehicle, a small area to set up your home office and
some basic office supplies.

Do I need
experience in child ID?
Not at all. We're looking for those with a desire to own and operate
a successful business, and understand the rewards that come from
following a proven system.

Are
there any standard operating procedures in place?
Yes. We've developed systems and operating procedures that place you
at the forefront of the child ID industry. The DIGIKIDS® Operating
Manuals, training and continuing support that we provide are a
culmination of our experience and expertise in business, franchising
and child identification. Our proprietary computer software,
programs and systems are designed to help you provide the highest
level of child safety identifications and customer satisfaction in
the industry from the first day you begin operations.

What training will I receive as a new franchisee?
Your initial training includes a minimum of two days classroom
instruction and actual hands on experience at a DIGIKIDS® Child
Safety Event, if there is one in the area your training is taking
place. At your request we can also be on hand to assist you in the
actual opening and operation of your new business, for example
assistance with your first child safety event.

Do you provide
continuing assistance?
Yes - we know that your success is our success. The support and
assistance you receive begins the moment you are accepted as a
franchise owner, and continues throughout your term with us. In
addition, we fully support and provide updates for our DIGIKIDS®
Data Collection Software program including Remote Control support
via an Internet connection. And through a special arrangement with
Dell, we even support your Dell computer system - you won't have to
deal with any offshore call centers.

What
is the DIGIKIDS® Data Collection Software?
The DIGIKIDS® Data Collection Software is a †patent-pending, fully
automated program designed from the ground up to produce the highest
quality, most useful child ID's anywhere. It was designed for an
extraordinary level of privacy and security for the children, as
well as the fastest processing times in the industry. It is what you
will use to process the DIGIKIDS® CD and Photo ID Cards and it is
very easy to operate; most people begin processing high-quality ID's
immediately - without any training at all!

Will I
need to take anything home to process?
Not at all - our software automates the entire ID process onsite.
You'll be able to complete and deliver the CD and Photo ID Card in
about two minutes without taking anything offsite, or returning to
deliver finished ID's - making your DIGIKIDS® business the least
'labor intensive' of all child ID companies - by a wide margin.

Am I responsible for the children's information once the ID is
completed?
Absolutely not! Our software is specifically designed so that no
database is ever created. There's never a responsibility on your
part to protect or remove sensitive information from your computer.
With our proprietary program, there's no database - so there's
nothing to delete.

Can I only
market DIGIKIDS® to schools?
With our two minute onsite processing and delivery time, actual
locations where you can offer the DIGIKIDS® Child ID service are
limited only by your imagination! Retail stores, the zoo, fairs,
malls, church functions, you name it!

Do you
develop and provide marketing material?
Yes. We develop our own award-winning marketing and promotional
material, and supply complete, pre-packaged ID and promotional kits
for use in your DIGIKIDS® business. This makes it easy for you to
concentrate on running your business - not ordering individual
items, or producing marketing material on your own.
