What is DIGIKIDS®?
DIGIKIDS® is an onsite child ID company that offers the most
advanced, effective and affordable child safety ID available today.
The services you provide will be at customer or public locations such as
schools and preschools, with only your
business support functions operated out a small area in your home.
Because DIGIKIDS® is home-based; there is little or no overhead and
no set schedule - you work when you want to!
What type of franchise opportunities are available?
We offer single unit franchises and Master Franchise Area
Development agreements to qualified individuals.
What type of
person are you looking for?
We are looking for exceptional individuals that would like to
generate a great income while providing a much-needed service for
the community. You should enjoy working with children and be willing
to accept the responsibility of having your own business - and
setting your own hours. It is important that you have enthusiasm for
our product coupled with a desire to make a profit; not just a
desire to make a profit. Not everyone that applies for our franchise

How much is the
franchise fee?
The franchise fee for a single all-inclusive DIGIKIDS® territory is
only
$29,900. The fee includes a complete computer, equipment and start
up package including a large inventory of DIGIKIDS® ID Kits and
professionally designed marketing material, initial customer list
and automated advertising campaign setup,
world-class initial training and unlimited ongoing support.
Is there a continuing
Royalty Fee?
There is no royalty fee! We have a unique (small) Monthly Territory
Fee that is fixed each year - you won't pay more as your sales increase like you
would with a percentage royalty. Plus, with our Rewards Program, you
earn Bonus Bucks for all purchases at the DIGIKIDS® Online
Store that you can use to pay the fee!
Can I
start my DIGIKIDS® business part time?
Yes. Your DIGIKIDS® business can be successfully
started or run on a part time basis.
How big is the
child ID industry?
According to the US Census, there are about 60 million children at
and below the ages of 14, which is the normal age range for child
ID. Child ID's also need to be updated on a regular basis, so most
can participate in the DIGIKIDS® program for many years. As children
get older babies are born, keeping the size of the market constant
or growing all the time.
Is DIGIKIDS® limited to schools like other child ID companies?
Not at all! With our two minute onsite processing and delivery time,
actual locations where you can offer the DIGIKIDS® ID service are
limited only by your imagination! Such as
daycares, the zoo,
fairs, malls, church functions, you name it!
Will I
need to take anything home to process?
With DIGIKIDS®, you won't have any homework after the event!
Our †patent-pending software automates
the entire ID process onsite. You will be able to complete and
deliver each CD and Photo ID Card in about two minutes without
taking anything offsite, or returning to deliver finished ID's.
Am I responsible for the children's information once the ID is
completed?
Absolutely not! Our †patent-pending software is specifically designed so that no
database is ever created. There's never a responsibility on your
part to protect or remove sensitive information from your computer.
With our proprietary program, there's no database - so there's
nothing to delete!
What training will I receive as a new franchisee?
Your initial training includes a minimum of two days classroom
instruction and actual hands on experience at a DIGIKIDS® Child
Safety Event, if there is one in the area your training is taking
place. At your request we can also be on hand to assist you in the
opening and operation of your new business, for example
assistance with your first child safety event. At the end of your
initial training, you will be fully prepared to run your new
business with confidence.
Do you provide
continuing assistance?
Yes. We know that your success is our success. The support and
assistance you receive begins the moment you are accepted as a
franchise owner, and continues throughout your term with us. In
addition, we fully support and provide updates for our DIGIKIDS®
Data Collection Software program including Remote Control support
via an Internet connection. And through a special arrangement with
Dell, we even help support your Dell computer system - you won't
have to deal with any offshore call centers.
Do you
develop and provide marketing material?
Yes. We develop our own award-winning marketing and promotional
material, and supply complete, pre-packaged ID and promotional kits
for your DIGIKIDS® business. This makes it easy for you to
concentrate on running your business - not ordering individual
items, or producing marketing material on your own.
Where do I purchase
my products?
We stock a complete line of professionally designed marketing and
promotional material, and the DIGIKIDS® Child ID Kits at the
DIGIKIDS® Online Store, available to purchase 24/7 - all at national
pricing levels.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. We suggest a retail price for the DIGIKIDS® Child ID, but you
are free to set your own pricing based on your particular area or
situation either higher or lower. Currently our Suggested Retail
Price for a DIGIKIDS® Child ID Kit is $29.95.
How soon can I be in
operation?
Once an area has been agreed upon and the franchise agreement signed
and accepted, it should take approximately 30 to 90 days.
